YOU NEVER, EVER THOUGHT YOU’D BE IN SALES. DID YOU?

My name is Derek. I went to a fancy college and earned bougie degrees in vocal performance and dance. When I graduated in 2003, I realized I couldn’t make a living or a life by singing and tap dancing.

I didn’t choose sales. It chose me. My life is rich, but that has nothing to do with my career.

Sales is a craft. Sales is the only creative endeavor that can be quantified in dollars. My customers are delighted to pay my prices because they get more from me than the money they spend. Stress free, I close at higher rates and margins than my so called “competition.” My numbers prove it, but numbers don’t tell the whole story.

Two things can be true at once.  Money isn’t everything, but cash solves a lot of problems. My life is rich, but that has nothing to do with money.
